Embodied Astrology: A Path to Feeling, Honoring, & Embodying Cycles
Deepening Your Relationship with the Moon in Your Chart
“Just as the gravitational force of the moon pulls the tides, I offer reverence and respect to the gravitational pull of the moon and notice the ways it guides us to flow with it. To be able to map out those tendencies of archetypal energy that we can find through looking at our birth chart and see, as clearly as possible, the ways in which we can collaborate with this energy for it to be generative.”

Embodied Astrology:
A Path to Feeling, Honoring, & Embodying Cycles
Do you remember what it felt like when you had your first astrology reading? Did you experience flashes of insight contemplating how you could have felt so seen and known? Did you feel overwhelmed as you heard the names of the planets you had memorized in grade school mentioned in rapid fire—realizing they have profound archetypal influence on your life? I'm so curious, what else arises for you as you think back to that first reading? My sense is there is something about that first reading that sparked something for you. Something that has been calling you forward and maybe even brought you here to these words now.
I love astrology. And I’m so grateful for Virginia’s approach and the way she offers insights as a pathway to your own inner knowing as an intuitive astrologer. This is the place where our work weaves together, cultivating the science and art of acknowledging those nudges of resonance as they arise and practicing our skill to listen to them and apply them to our lives in inspiring and practical ways.
The two approaches of astrology that I am the most passionate about now—and invite you to explore for yourself—are through the lens of embodiment and relationship.
Fun fact: Virginia and I created an Embodied Astrology course and have so many beautiful reviews of people who found that it deeply supported them. We are re-opening the doors soon, and we’re hosting a free call on July 31 to celebrate.
Embodiment & The Moon
One of the things I've been inspired to offer recently are embodied astrology sessions that match with movement to embody the energies in their chart. For so many people, when we embody something and have a felt experience with it, we understand it more intimately.
In addition to embodiment, I also find one of the deepest evolutions in my approach with astrology has been through prioritizing relationship. Would you like to explore that together for a few moments?
I invite you to bring your awareness to the moon. And notice how it feels in your body and in your heart, when you bring your attention to her. How does she appear to you? Does she feel like a friend? A relative? A guide?
Do you remember how you related to the moon when you were a child? I have these early childhood memories of hiding from the moon and delighting in showing myself to her, like a peek-a-boo game. I was in awe of how, wherever I went, she was still there beaming light in the darkness of night. I would play this game with her while in the backseat of my mom's car. The moon was a childhood companion to me.
Fast forward to in college, I lived in a place where many girls would go out and sunbathe during the day. Instead, I brought the lounge chairs out to moonbathe at night. My boyfriend thought I was so quirky and I would say to him, “I can’t explain it. I just love how it feels to be under the moonlight.”
As I continue my life journey 25 years later, I find myself a devoted moon dancer, once a year, fasting, dancing, and praying under the moon, honoring it as a reflection of divine feminine wisdom rooted in cycles. One of the biggest prayers I offer in my personal relationship with the moon is: Please help me honor the cycles of my life so that I may also support others in honoring the cycles of their lives.
Reflecting on Your Journey with the Moon
What has been your personal journey with the moon? Do you sense that if you were to deepen your relationship with the moon, it could potentially also support a deepening of understanding of the energies that are in your birthchart?
One of the aspects of embodied astrology is to courageously feel. I think that's one of the things the moon also offers us—this invitation to meet the moments of our lives, to feel them, to embody them, to live them, and to know that we are part of a bigger reality.
Just as the gravitational force of the moon pulls the tides, I offer reverence and respect to the gravitational pull of the moon and notice the ways it guides us to flow with it. To be able to map out those tendencies of archetypal energy that we can find through looking at our birth chart and see, as clearly as possible, the ways in which we can collaborate with this energy for it to be generative. May we stop making ourselves wrong and consciously choose the ways in which we will reflect back to the sky our own understanding.
A Free Gift for You
I have a gift for you to guide you through this experience of exploring, looking at your chart with a focus on embodiment and relationship.
I hope that this is a seed of possibility to contemplate deepening your personal relationship with the moon and acknowledging how the moon reflects our emotions and our body, reflecting back to us the many cycles of our lived experiences, to have an intentional lived experience of embodying the moon in your chart.
If you feel called to do this experience, I hope it nourishes you deeply.
With love,
Rochelle
